School Health Camp Organized at Ram Murari Public School, Katra

The Department of Community Medicine, Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Shahjahanpur, successfully organized a Free School Health Camp at Ram Murari Public School, Katra, Shahjahanpur.The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, Head of the Department of Community Medicine.

The medical team included Dr. Intakhab Alam (Professor), Dr. Aditya Prakash Singh (Assistant Professor), Dr. Yogesh Kumar (Assistant Professor), and postgraduate residents Dr. Charandeep Singh and Dr. Danish Khan.During the camp, 118 students underwent comprehensive health screening. The examination included general physical assessment, eye, ear, nose and throat examination, dental check-up, nutritional assessment, and evaluation of common health problems. Students requiring further medical attention were provided appropriate advice and referral for follow-up care.

The team also conducted a health education session focusing on personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, hand hygiene, regular physical activity, and healthy lifestyle practices.

The school management appreciated the efforts of the Department of Community Medicine and thanked the medical team for organizing the health camp for the benefit of the students.
