Successful Organisation of ‘Aashirvaad Ka Diya’ event under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Varun Arjun University

Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur organised “Aashirvaad Ka Diya”, the first programme under the month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” being conducted from September 17 to October 17, 2026 in coordination with the NEP (National Education Policy) Cell.

The initiative aimed to promote positivity, the spirit of service, and cultural values among students and society. As part of the programme, 5,000 diyas were collectively illuminated across the university campus, symbolising unity, harmony, and hope for a bright future. Students residing in the hostels, faculty, family members participated enthusiastically and played a key role in making the campus vibrant with energy and emotional connect. The diyas were lit at several important locations, including the temple under the guidance of Dr. Rahul Saxena and Mr. Vikas Saini (Intern), the hostel area under the coordination of Hostel Wardens and Supervisors, the faculty quarters under the leadership of Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, IQAC Coordinator, and the Principal’s Office Gate under the guidance of Mr. Siddhant Gangwar. Students from Varun Arjun Medical College, Varun Arjun College of Nursing, Varun Arjun College of Pharmacy, Varun Arjun College of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, Faculty of Forensic Science, and Varun Arjun College of Management, along with staff members, participated actively.

Dr. Keshav Kumar Agrawal (Chancellor), Dr. Ashok Kumar Agrawal (Pro-Chancellor), Dr. Kiran Agrawal (Vice-Chancellor), and Dr. Lata Agrawal (Vice-Chancellor, BIU) extended their best wishes for the initiative. The programme was also graced by Dr. (Col.) Ravindra Nath Shukla (Principal & Dean, Varun Arjun Medical College), Dr. Anil Kumar Pal (Registrar), Mr. Lalit Kumar Chauhan (Administrative Officer), and Mr. Asmanjas Yadav (Campus In-charge). The event reflected the university’s commitment to social responsibility, service, harmony, and positive social transformation.
