Varun Arjun University Organizes Free Orthopedic Medical Camp at Rural Health Training Centre

Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College, and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthara, Shahjahanpur, organized a Free Orthopedic Medical Camp on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Rural Health Training Centre, located near Nakhase Police Station, Miranpur Katra, Shahjahanpur. The camp was conducted with the objective of providing accessible and affordable orthopedic healthcare services to the rural population.
During the camp, patients received free medical consultations and examinations by experienced orthopedic specialists. Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were also conducted for all visitors. Medicines were distributed free of cost, and patients were provided with discount coupons for diagnostic investigations, including CT scans and MRI scans.
The Medical PRO of Varun Arjun Medical College informed that such free orthopedic camps will continue to be organized on every fourth Sunday of the month, ensuring regular healthcare services for people from all sections of society. The team also created awareness about the orthopedic facilities available at the hospital, including treatment for arthritis, joint pain, back pain, sciatica, neck pain, spinal disorders, numbness and weakness in the legs, congenital deformities of the hands and feet, bone infections, bone tuberculosis, and chronic bone discharge. Advanced services such as fracture management, plaster application, orthopedic surgeries, knee and hip replacement, ICU care, and other specialized treatments are available at affordable charges.
The hospital also informed visitors about its Family Health Card, available for ₹200 and valid for one year. Cardholders receive free OPD registration, a 20% discount on medicines and diagnostic tests, free admission files during hospitalization, and additional discounts on medicines.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rohit, Orthopedic Specialist, along with his medical team, paramedical staff, and Medical PRO Atul Gangwar, who were present throughout the event to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
