Varun Arjun University Organizes Free Health Fair in Alampur Nadaiya Village

Varun Arjun University, Varun Arjun Medical College, and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthara, Shahjahanpur, organized a Free Health Fair on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in Alampur Nadaiya village of Tilhar region. The health camp received an overwhelming response from the local community, with a total of 415 patients registering for medical consultation and treatment.
During the camp, four patients were diagnosed with cataracts. Their surgeries will be performed free of cost at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthara. Free blood sugar testing was conducted for 90 patients, while approximately 125 patients underwent free blood pressure examinations. In addition, 335 patients received free eye drops and medicines. Discount coupons for MRI, CT Scan, and other diagnostic investigations were also distributed among the beneficiaries.
The medical team and Public Relations Officer (PRO) educated people about the importance of regular health check-ups and informed them about the Family Health Card offered by the hospital for ₹200, valid for one year. Cardholders receive free OPD registration, 20% additional discount on medicines and diagnostic tests, free admission files during hospitalization, 25% discount on general surgeries, and 10% discount on blood requirements.
The PRO also informed the public that the hospital provides free admission facilities, free hospital beds, free nursing care, and free medical consultations. Advanced healthcare services, including ICU, ventilator support, dialysis, MRI, CT Scan, ultrasound, and various surgical procedures, are available round the clock at affordable rates.
The successful organization of the camp was supported by local social workers Mr. Satyendra Mishra, Mr. Brajesh Mishra, and Village Head Mr. Sonu Gupta. The medical team included Dr. Rivya Singh (Ophthalmology), Dr. Naidu (General Medicine), Dr. Abhishek (Orthopedics), Dr. Chirag (Pediatrics), Dr. Pragya Pandey (Gynecology & Obstetrics), along with Mr. Vipin Sharma, PRO of the Medical College, and other paramedical staff members.
