Varun Arjun Medical College Hosts IAPSM Quiz Competition on World Health Day 2026

On the occasion of World Health Day 2026, the grand finale of the quiz competition organised by the state chapter of IAPSM (Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine) was successfully conducted on 1st April 2026 at Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital.

In this prestigious competition, participants from various medical colleges across the state took part and demonstrated excellent knowledge and skills on topics related to public health.

The event was organised under the aegis of the Department of Community Medicine. On this occasion, the Head of the Department, Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, stated that such academic activities not only enhance awareness about public health among students but also strengthen their competitive spirit.

The college was represented by MBBS students of the 2024–25 batch — Bhavya, Arpita Yadav, and Bhawna. The participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, confidence, and proactiveness. They answered most of the questions accurately and within time, and also showed keen interest in participating in the national-level rounds.

The event was attended by Dr. Purva Soor, Dr. Ajay Agarwal, Dr. Intakhab Alam, Dr. Vinayak H. Kashyap, Dr. Shivani Gupta, and Dr. Aditya Prakash Singh, along with other faculty members and students.
