Varun Arjun University is proud to announce that two of its MBBS 2nd year students have been selected for the prestigious ICMR–Short Term Studentship (STS) Project 2025. This highly competitive national-level pr
ogram is regarded as one of the benchmark of academic excellence, with only a limited number of projects chosen from across India each year.
Miss Manasvi Mukherjee, guided by Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, Professor of ENT, and Miss Anvita Saxena, mentored by Dr. Rahul Saxena, Associate Professor of Physiology, have brought laurels to the institution through their selection. The submission process was steered under the able guidance of Dr. (Col.) Ravindra Nath Shukla, Dean & Principal of Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital.
Pro Chancellor Dr. Ashok Agarwal and Vice Chancellor Dr. Kiran Agarwal of VAU congratulated the students and their mentors, emphasizing that research is the foundation of medical progress and nurturing such aptitude in young doctors is vital. The University assured its continued support for research initiatives and encouraged more students to take part in these prestigious programs.
