Public Welfare and Awareness Campaign Successfully Conducted at Varun Arjun Medical College

With the reference under: Uttar Pradesh State Higher Education Council (UPSHEC) Letter No. 508/00UPSHEC/53/19 TC, dated June 05, 2026Shahjahanpur, June 21, 2026:Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Banthra, successfully conducted a series of public welfare and awareness activities from June 8 to June 20, 2026, as part of the state-wide Integrated Public Welfare & Awareness Campaign organized on the occasion of the completion of 12 years of the Central Government.

During the campaign, a Public Relations and Cleanliness Drive under the guidance of Principal office and department of Community medicine was carried out from** June 8 to June 14. Faculty members, medical professionals, and students actively participated in cleaning identified public areas, promoting proper plastic waste disposal, and spreading awareness regarding community hygiene and cleanliness.

A Welfare Camp and Health Mela was organized from June 14 to June 16, where awareness kiosks highlighted various healthcare and welfare schemes. Visitors were provided with guidance regarding public health services and government welfare initiatives. Adequate seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and visitor assistance services were also ensured.

From June 16 to June 17, the institution will be hosting the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Dialogue, featuring interactive discussions and expert panels on the theme of “Viksit Bharat and Viksit Uttar Pradesh.” Healthcare experts, students, and women participants engaged in meaningful discussions on development, public welfare, and nation-building.

The campaign will be organising Development Exhibition and Vox-Pop Programme from June 17 to June 20. Informative displays showcased achievements in digital governance, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Participants also shared their experiences and feedback through recorded success stories and public interaction sessions.

The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and members of the local community, contributing significantly to public awareness and social outreach efforts.
