Elevating Medical Education: IAPSM World Health Day Quiz at Varun Arjun Medical College

On March 25, 2026, the Community Medicine Department at Varun Arjun Medical College and Rohilkhand Hospital, under Varun Arjun University in Banthra-Shahjahanpur, hosted the prestigious ‘IAPSM World Health Day Quiz – College Round Final‘ organized by the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand State Branch). Guided by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, with key support from Professor Dr. Purva Sur and faculty like Dr. Intkhhab Alam, Dr. Ajay Agarwal, Dr. Shivani Gupta, and Dr. Aditya Prakash Singh, the event aimed to enhance MBBS students’ awareness of public health, national health programs, epidemiology, infectious/non-infectious diseases, and global health issues through a scientifically structured quiz format emphasizing quick thinking, teamwork, and decision-making.

The competition featured engaging rounds that captivated participants and observers, fostering practical knowledge beyond textbooks and promoting community health responsibilities.
