Alumni Connect 2025 conducted at Varun Arjun University: Learning from Those Who Walked Before Us



The Alumni Connect 2025 programme, themed “Beyond the White Coat – Life, Lessons and Leap Ahead,” was successfully held today, 22nd November 2025, at the Auditorium of Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital under the Alumni Cell of Varun Arjun University, Shahjahanpur. Organized under the guidance of the Dean & Principal Dr. (Col.) R. N. Shukla and coordinated by Dr. Dharmender Gupta, Professor & HOD, Department of Pharmacology, the event brought together faculty members, residents, interns, and MBBS students. The invited guest, Dr. Mohak Pathak, alumnus of the 2016 MBBS batch of Varun Arjun Medical College and currently JR-1, MD Anatomy at GRMC Gwalior, delivered an enriching talk on “Life after MBBS – Opportunities and Challenges,” gratefully acknowledging the strong role VAMC played in shaping his personality, discipline, and professional direction, which he recognized as the foundation of his growth and future achievements. The programme was highly appreciated by Honourable Chancellor of VAU Dr. Keshav Agarwal, Honourable Pro Chancellor Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Honourable Vice Chancellor of BIU Dr. Lata Agarwal, and Honourable Vice Chancellor of VAU Dr. Kiran Agarwal, with additional appreciation conveyed by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. L. R. Verma. The event was attended by Medical Superintendent Dr. P. S. Powar, Vice Principal of VAMC & RH Dr. Santhana Krishnan, Deputy Registrar of VAU Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Amit Singh, IQAC Coordinator of VAU Dr. Poornima S. Bhat, Administrative Officer Mr. Lalit Chauhan, along with several faculty members. Dr. Mohak Pathak was honoured with a memento and certificate as a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution. The programme served as a meaningful platform reinforcing the importance of discipline, mentorship, and institutional support in guiding young medical professionals toward a confident and purposeful future.
